I’ve discovered a zest for life
I wasn’t sure what I needed but told him I wanted to lose weight and improve my health and fitness. At the time I weighed 132.5kg and had a body fat percentage of 32.9%.
Nearly 40 years prior, I had finished school having been involved in competitive sport – swimming, rugby, cricket, athletics. But at the end of that year, I had had a spinal fusion which stopped physical activity for two years while the bone grafts hardened. Not a great deal of physical activity had occurred in the intervening 40 years and I was left with a bulging belly, treated high blood pressure, borderline high cholesterol, I would get out of breath climbing a flight of steps, and I snored when asleep.
Over those 40 years, I had tried to lose weight. Once about 20 years ago I got down to 80kg, but was skeletal in appearance, and it didn’t take long for the weight to start to rise again.
Terry developed a plan which he monitored and reviewed to ensure ongoing improvement in my health and fitness. At the same time Terry provided holistic nutritional advice in person and online which was instrumental, as part of his overall package, in ensuring my targeted goals were achieved. It was a time of excitement for me as, bit by bit, I discovered everything I didn’t like about my previous self was disappearing. It wasn’t just about the weight.

· I have lost 50 kilograms
· My body fat has dropped from 32.9% to 11.9%
· My abs are hard and sit-ups are effortless – there is no bulge
· My blood pressure is now unmedicated and entirely normal
· My cholesterol is normal
· I don’t snore
Would I have achieved this without Terry. No!!

I'd spent a few years recovering from major back surgery and needed to get fit and healthy again.

Even though I was going to the gym regularly I was subtly building up a large gut over time. It really crept up on me.
I was going to the gym regularly, but I was not watching my diet and not progressing in the weights i was lifting. It was progressively getting harder and harder to complete my gym programs.
Since taking my coaching with Terry to the next level - I have gone
down in weight from 88kg to 80kg over 3 months and gained 2% more muscle. I have had to buy new clothes.
